Dr. Natasha May
Dr. Natasha May brings with her extensive experience and a philosophy of care that utilizes modern and comprehensive periodontal and implant therapeutic approaches. She will strive to provide excellence to you in a gentle, caring, and informative manner.
Dr. May graduated with a D.D.S. from Dalhousie University in 1998. She completed her General Practice Residency at Vancouver General Hospital in 1999, and then practiced general dentistry for two years in the Northwest Territories.
She attained her specialty certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science from The Ohio State University in 2004. During her residency, she gained clinical proficiency in all aspects of classical periodontology, advanced bone grafting techniques and dental implant therapy.
Since graduation, she has practiced the specialty of periodontics in Calgary, Minnesota, Washington and Calgary. Her primary clinical interests are immediate dental implant placement and cosmetic procedures. Dr. May is educationally qualified and licensed to provide oral and intravenous conscious sedation. She is a registered specialist with board certification in Periodontics, both in Canada and the United States.
In her spare time, she enjoys warm flow yoga, hiking the Rockies, running, piano, road trips, cooking and reading. She is happily married to Jules and is a devoted mom to her two boys. She volunteers at her church and with Senior's Calgary.

Dr. Jules Mascarenhas
Dr. Jules Mascarenhas graduated with his dental degree from the University of Pune in India in 1994. He completed a hospital internship and two years in private practice, before immigrating to Canada in 1997. After passing the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) examinations, he moved to Yellowknife, NT where he practiced general dentistry for two years.
Dr. Mascarenhas subsequently completed a one year general practice residency at the University of Minnesota. Following this he practiced general dentistry for a year in Ontario and Minnesota.
Dr. Mascarenhas completed a three year specialty training program in Periodontics at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he earned a Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. He has extensive training in all phases of periodontics and implant surgery. He is also certified and trained in IV sedation so that you can benefit from this treatment option in a safe and comfortable environment.
Dr. Mascarenhas has passed board examinations for the designation of a registered specialist, in Periodontics both Canada and the United States.
Since completing his specialty training, Dr. Mascarenhas has been in full-time specialty practice in Calgary, Alberta. He is a member of the Alberta Dental Assciation, Canadian Academy of Periodontology and the Canadian Dental Association.
Away from work, he enjoys weight training, biking, reading John Grisham novels, and just relaxing with his wife and kiddos watching movies.
